Greetings, and thank you for visiting our website! A space belonging to all of us Kindred Spirits who believe in our power to stand, working with one another and for one another in Love and community to build a safe and welcoming society that can provide for everyone.
A week after the election, climbing up from an abyss of disappointment and hopelessness, an inspiration came to one of us out of the painful memory of revolting violence against our democracy in January 2021. Isaac Newton's mastery of physics and the much longer established wisdom of Eastern philosophy and mysticism has revealed to us that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. An opposite reaction to the hateful actions of chaotic destruction that descended upon the nation's capital must be made of Love, order, and self-control.
It is our turn not just to react, but to respond to the challenges we face with the best we have to offer one another. Taking action in intersectional solidarity instead of the silos of identity markers, we have the power to transform the narrative of our nation. We have the right and the power to care for one another.
Little by little the idea spread from one person to another. Then another, and another and another. We banded together to turn the inspiration into a dream, and the dream into our awakening. We have shared this idea through the personal networks of trusted relationships with the intention to spread through the spirit of this trust, in faith and grounded Love.
Dr. Martin Luther King said, "When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind." Love is the tool with which we must build our world and break down walls that separate and harm us. Love is the truth we must tell with our actions, protecting those who would suffer needlessly from the fear that has controlled so many Americans for so long.
